Borg’s Woods Nature Preserve

This 15-acre nature preserve with woodlands and wetlands is located within our county seat of Hackensack. An old growth remnant of deciduous forest, the preserve features trees that are estimated to be over 200 years old.

Trailheads can be found at the end of Byrne Street and at the end of Allen Street on Fairmount Avenue. Limited street parking is available. Visitors should note the trail is short, encompassing 1/5 of a mile (1056ft).
